Today, I took a picture in the sun of my little white vase filled with vibrant flowers that Brad had bought.
I couldn’t help but think of the 🌈, which reminded me of when I stopped to grab a coffee. It was a moment of connection (a rainbow connection) where I shared the truth about the Rainbow in scripture.
One afternoon, I decided to stop for a quick coffee on my way home. I pulled up to the drive-thru and noticed a bright rainbow flag fluttering in the breeze. It hit me—it was Gay Pride Month!
Now, I couldn’t help but think about what the rainbow truly represents and what God’s word says about pride. In Isaiah 14, we learn that pride can lead to destruction. It reminds us of how Satan fell because he wanted to be worshiped instead of worshiping God. And Proverbs 17 tells us that a proud heart brings ruin.

So, there I was, waiting for my coffee, and I felt this nudge from the Holy Spirit. When the barista handed me my cup, I felt compelled to share about God’s rainbow with such compassion.
“You see that rainbow?” I asked, gesturing to the flag in front of us hanging on their building. “It’s such a beautiful reminder of God’s promise to Noah and his family.” Do you know the story—Noah and his family are safe in the ark with all those animals? God sent the flood because of the wickedness of man, but that rainbow? It’s a sign of His covenant. This is a promise and a sign that He made to Noah when the waters dried up, and it is a sign to us today, each time we see a rainbow in the sky.
God said, “He would never again destroy the earth with a flood,” the rainbow symbolizes His love and faithfulness.
It’s not a slogan; it’s a reminder that God’s judgments are true, but He also sent His Son, Jesus, to redeem us from our sins and bring us back to Him.
I could see the employees at the window hanging on to every word. Some looked a bit shocked, but others had a spark of curiosity in their eyes. Then, a young girl spoke up, “I’ve never heard that before.” I smiled and said, “The rainbow and all its colors remind us that God keeps His promises. He is always faithful and ready to forgive. If you’re curious, you can read all about it in Genesis chapters 6-9!”
Just then, the car behind me started honking, and I knew it was time to go. As I drove away, I felt this incredible sense of peace, knowing I had shared a bit of truth with them.

Share the Rainbow by telling its truth! God puts it in the sky for all to see on purpose. Years ago, I wrote a song titled “He Set a Rainbow in the Sky, a Sign of His Forgiveness and His Mercy.”
So, let’s keep our eyes open for those reminders and share that hope with others. You never know whose heart you might touch! Every time they see a rainbow 🌈 now they’ll remember the truth that God put it there as a sign “He keeps His word”!
Romans 10:14-17 ❤️
The Message
14-17 But how can people call for help if they don’t know who to trust? And how can they know who to trust if they haven’t heard of the One who can be trusted? And how can they hear if nobody tells them? And how is anyone going to tell them, unless someone is sent to do it? That’s why Scripture exclaims,
A sight to take your breath away!
Grand processions of people
telling all the good things of God!
But not everybody is ready for this, prepared to see and hear and act. Isaiah asked what we all ask at one time or another: “Does anyone care, God? Is anyone listening and believing a word of it?” The point is that before you trust, you have to listen. But unless Christ’s Word is preached, there’s nothing to listen to.
