As the sunsets in the series “The Journey.”
This brings everything full circle. I never intended to start writing a book, but the Journey series opened my heart, and the Lord began to release me to flow with words and fill the pages.
The river ministry served as a powerful metaphor for my faith—it is ever—moving and ever-changing yet constant in the Lord’s purpose as it continues to move forward. No obstacles can contain it or stop its flow.
The River flows with purpose
We’ve been planted here, where two rivers converge and flow into two lakes, each carrying its own unique story. It’s as if God is saying, “Look at this beautiful convergence—I am at work in the midst of it all!” The waters remind me how seamlessly our lives intertwine within His grand design. Just as they become one with the largest body of water between the Great Lakes and the Gulf of Mexico, we, too, are on a journey toward something far more significant than ourselves.
Seeing how God planned every detail is remarkable in connecting us to this community.
Here’s a little info: Brad has picked up a southern drawl (I like it)
Isaiah 55:9 rings in my heart, “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways.”
Oh, what a profound truth to cling to! Our God, who never slumbers, has a more excellent plan than we could ever fathom. Sometimes, we may feel lost or bewildered, but we should be encouraged. His timing is impeccable! We have lived here a year and witnessed His trustworthiness unfold before us in beautiful ways.
I can see everything coming full circle. In my book, I describe how I got to this point and what it’s like to live here on my journey now. Honestly, the vision keeps expanding so fast that I can hardly keep up! It’s like God has opened a floodgate of possibilities.
I know many of you can relate to feeling overwhelmed in this crazy world we’re living in. Yet we are all called to step into those harvest fields and keep planting seeds for salvation, right?
But here’s the amazing part! Even when it feels like everything is too much, we can trust in His grace. Every little act of kindness and encouraging word matters. It’s our chance to spread hope and love like confetti! (Hit the golden buzzer for some folks.)
Remember, we’re not doing this alone! His presence is with us, guiding us every step of the way. So, let’s keep our eyes on the purpose He has for us. Together, we can plant those seeds of faith and watch them grow in ways we can’t even imagine.
The sun sets as I’m writing this, and in the stillness of the night, I can hear a tugboat coming into the harbor, announcing its presence with a deep, resonating horn—a sweet reminder of God’s strength and guidance.
Proverbs 4:25-27
25 -Keep your head up, your eyes straight ahead,
and your focus fixed on what is in front of you.
26- Take care you don’t stray from the straight path, the way of truth,
and you will safely reach the end of your road.
27- Do not veer off course to the right or the left;
step away from evil, and leave it behind.
