Brad and I hit the new trail today, and let me tell you, it was like stepping into a painting. The beauty of God’s creation surrounded us, and we couldn’t help but feel that sense of wonder and awe. The trees stood tall, the sunlight filtered through the leaves, and every little detail reminded us of the incredible world we live in. It was a moment to breathe it all in and appreciate the gift of nature.

Realizing the green leaves would be changing soon, and just like them, we wanted to hold on to warmer weather a little bit longer. Every plant we saw, and all the animals seemed to hold a spark of the divine within them, a reminder of God’s presence in all things.

I couldn’t help but marvel at the incredible truth that every living thing carries its DNA—each a beautiful piece of His divine plan. From the tiniest leaf to the tallest tree, everything was crafted with intention and love, showcasing God’s infinite creativity. It’s a powerful reminder that we’re all connected and that every detail in nature has a purpose. This realization inspires me to cherish the world around us, knowing we’re part of something much bigger.

Y’all know I love the Message Bible

(Even creation is looking for the rapture)

Romans 8:19-28

18-21 That’s why I don’t think there’s any comparison between the present hard times and the coming good times. The created world can hardly wait for what’s coming next. Everything in creation is being more or less held back. God reins it in until both creation and all the creatures are ready and can be released at the exact moment into the glorious times ahead. Meanwhile, the joyful anticipation deepens.

22-25 All around us, we observe a pregnant creation. The difficult times of pain throughout the world are simply birth pangs. But it’s not only around us; it’s within us. The Spirit of God is arousing us within. We’re also feeling the birth pangs. These sterile and barren bodies of ours are yearning for full deliverance. That is why waiting does not diminish us, any more than waiting diminishes a pregnant mother. We are enlarged in the waiting. We, of course, don’t see what is enlarging us. But the longer we wait, the larger we become, and the more joyful our expectancy.

Yes, everything that is going on is a forerunner to a new life prepared for those who believe in Jesus and who are looking for His coming.

Right now, we see so much struggle and heartache in our world, but we must remember that this is not the end of the story.

No, it’s the beginning of something magnificent that God will bring forth!
