I was filled with great emotion walking by the lake, conversing with the Lord about everything that has been on my mind through the events of my life because being so close to my birthday and turning 64 years old was causing great reflection.
I am reminded again of the Holy Spirit’s presence surrounding me for 64 years.
The Letter Samech in Hebrew is a circle (ס) is #60, which means surround, Like a wall that protects or supports even as a hug surrounds and supports.
The Letter Dalet in Hebrew is a door, doorway (ד) is # 4, the word for door, open door, or pathway.
The wind was getting stronger, and the Holy Spirit blew even stronger within my heart, like bursting forth water upon my soul.
I have felt this before. It’s as though your faith has risen to its highest, and then it enters another facet of His Glory and reflecting takes on a deeper meaning. I’m finding that faith will shape your tomorrow.
Brad and I are embracing significant change in our later years.
Little did we know how far our faith would take us as we walked this path together, holding onto the promises we knew were true. As I’m writing this, I can hear the Lord say these words almost exactly a year ago to the very day
“I’ve got this. “ “I’ve got you.”
I read some pages earlier that I had written in a journal last year. I penned with tears, not knowing that all the whys and the hows would be interwoven, not by chance or luck. Still, all those lived-out moments recorded on paper should be put together, and all those past journals should never be replaced again because His will is perfect. When He prepares a way for you not by hidden agendas but by Light-filled blueprints on display, waiting to break ground and begin,
The next chapter couldn’t begin until the old ones had an end.
You must never underestimate your past battle experiences, for they will elevate you to a position in His army.
He further explained “blueprints” and “plans” and said to me, “It’s not a written pamphlet of agendas for your life that I prepared for you. It’s a journey. Each step is ordained for you, so to stick to an emotionless script is worthless to my purposes and your well-being. It’s your story! It’s your song! There will be tears and laughter, Joy and sorrow. You’ll never pass this way again, Yet
You’ll never have an ending; you always have a beginning.”
The sun was setting now, and the air was turning cooler, and just like that, I was reminded of a scripture I have cried out unto the Lord many times.
Hug me, Lord, and
Warp me in your word like a garment of praise.
As it says in Isa 61:3
I’ve often put on this beautiful garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.
These two words
These two Hebrew words are vital for you, Faith and Trust.
Trusting someone isn’t easy; it isn’t easy to know who – or how – to trust sometimes.
I want a life filled with deep, trusting relationships; how about you? Yet, so often, we wind up trusting the wrong person.
Sadly, I presumed the other person had my best interests at heart.
Isaiah 26:4
So trust in the Eternal One forever,
for He is like a great Rock—strong, stable, trustworthy, and lasting.
Faith – in Hebrew is Batah, the b’ means If God’s in your house, trust Him. — Faith includes belief in God’s existence and especially in God’s trustworthiness to keep his promise to you..
“It is better to trust in God than to trust in any man” (Psalms 118:9) or “I have placed my trust in Your lovingkindness.” From this, bitachon means faith and is often used interchangeably with Emunah trust.
In Hebrew Batah H982 – trust /faith
It is not an attitude based on experience but in the one that creates experience.
It means you learn to be at ease, to have faith, and to trust and be confident that God is in control. Again, God is in control, but that does not mean you’re out of control or controlling.
Emunah faith(-ful, -ly, -ness,– trust is the root word for Amen trust believed H539 āman
It is confidence-based, not on reason; Emunah trust endures even when reason can’t catch up with it.
We all know situations that occasionally hit out of nowhere when you can’t see any natural means that will get you out of it. At that point, “batah ” faith steps up to bat. Stop saying things like, Im stuck! Who can help me?” you say, “My help is from the Lord who makes heaven and earth—and therefore, can do whatever He wants with this situation because He’s looking out for my good. He has my best interest at hand.
Others will witness the transformative effects of trusting God in your life. Hey, you know that kind of trust that goes beyond the surface, but it lights the way for others to see your faith, and that your trust in God is not just a thing you can say, but boy, your liven in it right out loud.

Jeremiah 17:7-8 ❤️

But blessed is the one who trusts in Me alone;
the Eternal will be his confidence.
A state of confidence, security, a sure hope.
He’s got this! He’s got you!
