We walked down through the woods to take this picture of the trees by the water and it looked like a star shining through at the top of the tree.
The sun shining through the trees will soon change as the trees break dormancy and begin to bud.
This is why trees are the most recognizable change in the seasons – every season means something different in their life cycle.
“Like the trees, if you are in spiritual dormancy, it’s the season to awaken it’s springtime for regrowth.”
HEBREW – IN ITS SEASON

Psalms 1:3: “And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”
All seasons of life until eternal life are part of living out God’s plan for our lives.
Water in the Middle East is not that plentiful. Many trees attempt to grow, but if not planted by a water source or rivers of water, they will wilt and die.
We are like a tree planted by the rivers of water: A tree planted by the river that sends out its roots and has a continual water source. It will never wither away because it is always supplied with what it needs. In different seasons of our lives, we may need more water, and if we are planted by the rivers of water, there will be no worries in a drought.
Psalm 1:3
3 He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.
Elohim– the name of God mentioned at the beginning of the Book of Genesis, which describes the world’s creation.
Genesis 1:5 (AMP)
The Creation
1 In the beginning, God ([Elohim) created [by forming from nothing] the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was formless and void or a waste and emptiness, and darkness was upon the face of the deep [primeval ocean that covered the unformed earth]. The Spirit of God was moving (hovering, brooding) over the face of the waters. 3 And God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good (pleasing, useful), and He affirmed and sustained it; and God separated the light [distinguishing it] from the darkness. 5 And God called the light day, and the darkness He called night. And there was evening and there was morning, one day.
The Hebrew people have a unique and blessed way of experiencing the beauty of Elohim’s creation. Because their Hebrew language brings them extraordinary wisdom, they embrace natural phenomena beauty like summer thunderstorms, lightning, rainbows, sunlight glittering upon the water and the ocean tides, a Shooting Star.
I received a new camera as a gift from Brad and I learned something new I thought what an excellent example of how we should see Elohim’s creation.
Like the holy trinity of lenses?
If you are a photographer, you might have heard of the term “the holy trinity of lenses.” But what does it mean, and why is it so important?
The lens trinity is a set of three zoom lenses that cover a wide range of focal lengths, from wide-angle to telephoto, and are versatile, reliable, and superior for better image quality and dynamic range to capture the moment’s essence.
“Captures the moment’s essence.”
Hebrew for essence ‘da•var’ ‘being’ or ‘existence
“The Hebrew language opens our vision like The Holy Trinity of lenses.”
They see everything we see, yet they physically experience or absorb it as an opportunity to remember and connect with the source of the creator as essential for their being.
They sincerely appreciate nature and the roots of their relationship with the written word, for in God’s appointed feasts, His seasons are spring, summer, autumn, and winter.
God’s Appointed Times Are a Framework for Us
God has created a pattern from which everything flows—historically and prophetically.
He uses His creation to reveal Himself.
In the beginning, God created the heavens and the Earth. The fact that God created it spoke it to form it to fashion in Hebrew word found there:
H#1254 bara (בָּרָא, to create)
This means creating/cutting down, like in Joshua: 17:18, cutting down trees to clear out land.
It’s in that similar fitting way that describes how God brings into existence and fashions existing matter, birthing anew, as God did, creating man out of the dust of the ground, but understanding the capacity of what God does, no humans can replicate it because all nature is living, He created humanity Genesis 1:26 “Let us (Trinity) make Man in our image according to our likeness…”
Read Isaiah 43:1; I’m expounding on these two sections.
Says the LORD, who created you…and He who formed you
Our Creator. God has a special and unique claim upon us because He is our Creator.
When we forget or reject God as Creator, then we fail in the most fundamental obligation we have to Our God.
H#1254 bara (בָּרָא, to create)
Jos 17:18 – But the mountain shall be thine; for it is a wood, and thou shalt cut it down: H1254 and the outgoings of it shall be thine:
Isa 45:18 – For thus saith the LORD that created H1254 the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created H1254 it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD, and there is none else.
This section is very personal for Brad and me because we continue to experience the meaning of creating in Hebrew. He helped us clear trees to build the home we lived in; He helped us clear trees to build a Church—a place of prayer, worship, and Word for years in a small town. Even now, we are continuing in the bara (בָּרָא, to create with our Elohim in a new season.
