Journaling is like Gardening. You work with your hands, planting words (seeds of the Word). By faith, you see them grow.
Writing in my Journal, the Lord impressed these words upon my heart, and he began to reveal to me His plans. Today, it started with reading through the pages I had written months before. Coming across this page was like a breath of fresh air, almost like a brand new one, and reading it for the first time.
Confess out loud the promises I give you. You will see my mighty hand move upon your life.
Each minute and every mile of the journey has all been leading up to this point
These last hours will seem like you’ll never get there syndrome: “Are we there yet”?
Because you know what’s behind you is in no way comparable to your destination
It’s just you and Brad on this ride
Yes, pack your bags and prepare. I’ve got your departure
You know the road there, yet I’m ahead of you, preparing your encounters with such anticipation: the action of anticipating something, expectation, or prediction.
I do this for you. Planning ahead is underrated. It’s my attributes that will carry you and make your next transition easier.
I know you’re ready for this because the testing came before the blessing. It was plowed up years ago, planted, guarded, weeded, and pruned. At last, a full, fruitful harvest is ready, Yes! I said ready!
This is the Lord speaking to my heart and he showed me the past Journal for my present Journaling the two entwined yet not next to each other in the pages months apart.
He showed me Former Rain and the Latter Rain
Deuteronomy 11:14/ Hosea 6:3/ Joel 2:23
When there is drought, nothing grows. God promises to restore both the former rain (falling in autumn) and the latter rain (falling in spring).
Spring is coming soon. He said to me
And you’re falling deeper in love with your roots grounded by my cultivating presence that has plowed up hard places within your heart. I am sending the Holy Spirit rain that will nourish you to come to the fruit-full garden, the place you walk closer with me, a place of intimate revealing patterns ( straight rows ) that will leave your seeds of faith planted for your later harvest.
It’s because of who He is;
Omnipresence He exists everywhere all at once: omnipotence, all-powerful God.
Omniscience, all-knowing God.
He has planned every piece of our puzzle, and when we seek his will, he directs our steps.
What a magnificent picture titled “Your Journey.”
it will be when finished well.
