“…for such a time as this” Esther 4:14
This first entry is just at the right time. I call Valentine’s Day “Heart Day” because hearts are everywhere. People open up their hearts on this day. It’s the day of Love, and oh yes, don’t forget the chocolate.
The greatest of all the Love stories is yours and mine. It started the day we received Jesus into our ❤️ heart
My heart is to open your hearts as I share my teachings and stories along the way and my love for the Hebrew language.
The Hebrew people do not read just to read words. They express it like reading a Hallmark card. Each word draws you right into the next, creating a crescendo ending. They go from desire to desire, revealing the heart of YHVH God. The Hebrew Letters are words, not just letters. The letters make words just like a printing press. As you open the Bible, those words become imprinted upon your heart and mind. Our Lord’s words are written in red.
I’ve learned that the Hebrew Language is the only language created on this foundation of the divine relationship, between light reflection and desire. He created us to want more than a surface relationship. We are to thirst and hunger and desire a deeper connection to hear His voice, to feel the light of truth within our hearts ❤️illuminated.
Just saying His name in English, Jesus
In Hebrew, Yeshua is music to our ears.
Have you ever said out loud, “I’m so loved by Jesus, I’m so blessed to be His.”

My Life was hollow. Something was missing. Yes, I had those I loved, and they loved me, yet I still felt empty until I asked Him into my heart, into my whole life. Every Area
When you look at a string instrument, the first thing you’ll probably notice is wood; why is it called a string instrument? The body of the string instruments, which are hollow inside, allows sound to vibrate within them. They are made of different kinds of wood, but the part of the instrument that makes the sound is the strings. Like us, we are empty and hollow until Elohim. We allow Him to place His hand across our hearts, and He plays our Song.
I hear His heavenly symphony written within my heart.

I’ve always loved a rocking chair. It’s so very soothing to sit and rock. I love the rhythm it creates. As you admire a music score, you will follow the measures and notes. An EKG of your heart has rhythm; it has a pattern, and that’s why I wrote this. I believe it will make a small contribution to your life to allow you to reflect and rejuvenate “a moment for just you,” to get into the rhythm of your heart song.
People get out of rhythm, and boy, do you know when it happens. You not only hear it, but you see it. In all of our lives, we will face death, the separation from the ones that our heart has loved upon this earth. Your rhythm changes, and the sound of their heart is no longer beating here with you.
Just not even a year ago Brad (my husband) walked into the bedroom an evening as I was reading and fell on the bed grasping at his chest he could not speak. He was having a heart attack. I drove through town with every light and blinker on at a speed needed and shouting every scripture that came out of my mouth “You shall not die” Psalm 118:17 “O Life, live into me. Encompass me and all that I am; well up within me. O Spring of Life, let your river flow through my heart, soul, mind, and strength” John 7:38 “You are the God who gives life to the dead” Romans 4:17
At the ER, I made a couple of desperate prayer phone calls. Then the doctors and nurses witnessed a miracle. The monitor screen showed a breakthrough because all at once the Dr said “It was as if something pushed through and cleared his blockage. The rhythm of his heart had changed. He required stents and the heart Dr said to me “His was called a widow maker” I went home to sleep and lay there weeping and singing
How Do I Live? By LeAnn Rimes
How do I get through one night without you?
If I had to live without you
What kind of life would that be?
Oh, I, I need you in my arms, need you to hold
You’re my world, my heart, my soul, and if you ever leave
Baby, you would take away everything good in my life
And tell me now
How do I live without you? I want to know
How do I breathe without you if you ever go?
How do I ever, ever survive?
How do I, how do I, oh, how do I live?
As I’m writing this my heart is praying for you right now. Your story may have ended differently and your heart is broken in pieces. No, I don’t know how you are feeling; yet I have held the hands of many at their bedside or casket side and wept with them a cried out to Jesus for them and for the only comforter the Holy Spirit to come. The only hope is heaven and to leave the greatness insurance; I call it assurance policy. A policy is a statement of intent and is implemented as a procedure or protocol.
Your policy -Make sure your name is written in the Book of Life.
Think of it this way, when you hear a love song listen to His heart, we are made in His very own image, and He died for us all. We are His family the Father God’s children.
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
Suppose you are listening to the wrong voices of negative interference. We have to check to see who we are listening to. Get back to the right rhythm. Again, check to see if your God station went off the air! Search for it and find it! The station call letters are ___; put your initials in the blank.
See, He’s calling you to sit and listen. He’s playing your song! And all our songs are different. The only note that is the same in each song is His desire to spend Forever with you and your loved ones.
It’s Valentine’s Day
These words are in the Bible

Kisses in the Bible
Kisses can mean a lot of different things in the Bible. A kiss can be an affectionate sign of love or a hypocritical sign of betrayal. Or an honorable kiss of bowing before a King – Psalms 85:10
Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
I think it isn’t easy to get mercy and truth to meet together. The Definition of truth is absolute holiness without error or hypocrisy. The Definition of mercy is overlooking error and hypocrisy. Mercy and truth sound like total opposites. They have already met together. Past tense. Remember the saying that opposites attract?
Righteousness and Peace have kissed each other.
Righteousness and Peace. Everyone wants both. A person living a life of sin finds righteousness frustrating, yet without it, no one can have true peace.
Ephesians 2:14 Amplified Bible
“For He Himself is our peace and our bond of unity. He who made both groups—[Jews and Gentiles]—into one body and broke down the barrier, the dividing wall [of spiritual antagonism between us]”
Here’s where they Kiss
Our sinful hearts become transformed hearts
Romans 10:9-10 Amplified Bible
“Because if you acknowledge and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord [recognizing His power, authority, and majesty as God], and believe in your heart ❤️ that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart a person believes [in Christ as Savior] resulting in his justification [that is, being made righteous—being freed of the guilt of sin and made acceptable to God]; and with the mouth he acknowledges and confesses [his faith openly], resulting in and confirming [his] salvation.”
To meet together to kiss
Kiss in Hebrew Strongs H5401 -nasa’q
Hebrew root word nasa’q, which means to kindle a fire or become passionate. The kiss starts with a spark.
Marriage involves spiritual, emotional, and physical closeness along with desire.
“Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh” Genesis 2:24. Married couples are meant to be unified in every possible way.
To be clear on the definition of wife
Wife -strongs #5802 n ‘iššâ pronounce ish-shaw woman, wife, female.
For my very first sermon, I was asked to preach; Song of Solomon chapter 3 at a married couples retreat. We stayed at the lodge, and each couple had their room. Brad and I found out that morning how thin the walls were because the couple next door was having an argument that started over a toothbrush that wasn’t packed. It went on, and then it escalated. It was the leaders of the retreat. Years later, you look back after revealing the circumstances and realize the problem wasn’t the toothbrush.
That was a defining moment for me. I was going to have the privilege to stand before them and to minister The Song of Solomon, for it describes both marriage and God’s relationship with His people.
The Song of Solomon is not just about commitment and intimacy in the context of marriage; it also speaks to the type of relationship that the Lord desires to have with His people. Great love and Great forgiveness.
Have you ever heard many ministers speak in the book of Song of Solomon?
Why, I wonder, with such intense passion expressed in sacred Scripture, and yet even many commentators, minimize the strong desire for this book? Maybe the church would emulate it by action
if it was ministered more.
Read the Message Bible—no watering down it.
Song of Solomon 1:2-3
Woman Shulamite speaks
“Kiss me—full on the mouth! Yes! For your love is better than wine, headier than your aromatic oils. The syllables of your name murmur like a meadow brook. No wonder everyone loves to say your name!”
Song of Solomon 4:11
Man Solomon speaks
“The kisses of your lips are honey, my love, every syllable you speak a delicacy to savor. Your clothes smell like the wild outdoors, the fresh scent of high mountains”
The Song of Solomon is called “The Song of Songs,” which is about Solomon and Shulamite. This great song of songs illustrates the love, intensity, passion, and beauty of the relationship between a husband and wife. It presents the height of glory and passion of love in marriage. It powerfully illustrates the love covenant.
Holy greeting Kiss
In New Testament times, a kiss on the cheek was used for greeting and implied friendship and acceptance.
Disciples, Holy Kiss greeting
Romans 16:16 (and four other places)
“Greet one another with a holy kiss…”
In several places, Paul admonishes the believer to greet one another with a kiss. This “holy kiss” would be the equivalent of a heartfelt handshake or a hug.
Betrayal began first in the heart
The betrayal happened before the kiss- occurs in the ❤️ heart first.
The 12 disciples had eaten super together many times, but that evening at the table was the night before Jesus would be crucified. How sad, but that’s the enemy. He hits you right before you need a friend to stand for you. Not against you.
John 13:2 “And supper being ended, the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, to betray him”
Jesus Predicted His Betrayal!
John 13:21 “When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.”
Kiss of Betrayal
Luke 22:47-48
“And while he was yet speaking behold a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them and drew near unto Jesus to kiss him. But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?”
Was Judas a hypocrite who pretended to honor him? Yet, he stood before him with an unbelieving heart.
Proverbs 27:6 ” Faithful are the wounds of a friend [who corrects out of love and concern], but the enemy’s kisses are deceitful [because they serve his hidden agenda].”
Satan will use every trick he can to deceive us, even the false love of an enemy. Beware of the wolf in sheep’s clothing.
One of my Songs I wrote about these very verses “(I Don’t want to be like Judas) betrayed with a kiss.” The song had the most requested plays on radio stations in Philadelphia.
Watch out who you are kissing!
With a kiss of adoration to Pagan idols. Those who worshipped idols kissed them.
Hosea 13:2 “And now they sin more and more and have made them molten images of their silver, and idols according to their understanding, all of it the work of the craftsmen: they say of them, Let the men that sacrifice kiss the calves.”
In Hosea’s time, the people had become so consumed with idols they would wear little idols around their necks or have idols situated in various places in the city. The custom was that the people would kiss the idol to show reverence and honor to them. False gods.
God says, “Some have Not Kissed an idol.”
1 Kings 19:18
“Yet I have left me seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him.”
Kiss of a forgiving Father
The Forgiving Kiss of Compassion – Luke 15:20
“So he got up and went to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him, and kissed him.”
When the father saw his son who had left wrong and was coming home, he did not rebuke him or say, “I told you so.” Instead, he ran and hugged his son and kissed his neck. God is willing and waiting to run toward you and restore you to Himself. He watches for them to come home.
A Kiss of gratitude and honor
The Faithful Kiss of Salvation
Luke 7:37-38
“And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster box of ointment. And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment.”
Brad and I are affectionate people. We hug our children and give those grandkids lots of kisses.
We are still passionately in love after all these years. He still amazes me, and I melt when he looks at me. Yes still. And I know it’s reciprocated. Tell someone you love them every day. But most of all, show them your love with your actions.
XOXO
